Spray Foam Insulation
Spray foam expands into every crack and joint, giving you an air seal and a thermal blanket in one step. It is our first choice for basements, rim joists, cathedral ceilings, and any wall assembly that has to hold up to Ontario winters.

What it is
Closed cell and open cell foam that air seals and insulates in one pass.
Materials
We install high performance closed cell and open cell polyurethane foam from Canadian manufacturers, including WALLTITE compatible systems.
Typical timeline
Most projects finish in one to two days on site.
Why homeowners and builders pick this option
- Stops air leaks that let heat and humidity move through your walls
- Adds structural rigidity to walls and roof decks
- Blocks moisture and helps prevent mould in basements and crawl spaces
- One of the highest R values per inch of any product on the market

When it makes sense
- New builds and additions before the drywall goes up
- Basement walls, rim joists, and headers
- Cathedral ceilings and vaulted areas with limited depth
- Metal buildings, garages, and shops
Our process
- 01
Site assessment
We inspect the space, look for moisture and air-leak paths, and plan around wiring, plumbing, and vents.
- 02
Prep and mask
We cover floors and finished surfaces, and mask any area that should stay foam-free.
- 03
Spray in lifts
We apply foam in controlled lifts so it cures properly and reaches the depth your project needs.
- 04
Trim and clean up
Once cured, we trim excess foam, remove masking, and leave the site tidy.

Common questions
Is spray foam safe once it is cured?+
Yes. Once fully cured it is inert. Our crew wears full protection during the spray and we ventilate before letting anyone back in.
How thick should I go?+
It depends on the assembly. For basement walls we usually recommend two inches of closed cell for a strong vapour barrier. Attic and ceiling depths vary. We size it during the quote.
Can spray foam be added to an older home?+
In many cases, yes. If we can access the cavity from the inside or through the rim joist, we can spray it. For finished exterior walls, drill and fill is usually a better fit.
